After two decades in education and years away from the studio, his practice was reignited through grief, love, and a relentless need to create—resulting in a body of work that blends autobiography with cultural critique. His signature collage technique layers photographs, found imagery, and text into richly constructed surfaces that challenge viewers to navigate multiple truths at once, while his writing—most notably Perfect Day—mirrors this process through fragmented, cinematic storytelling.
